Content generation 2

For this week’s content generation, I’d thought I’d focus on the improvements from my last content generation blog post, and see how my audience interacts. I opted for posting at different times at least 2-3 times a week, specifically during the evenings. I found that for Instagram, posting between the hours of 7 p.m.-9 p.m. on Monday often had the most form of engagement and received the most interactions. Similar to Wednesday from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday which I’d usually post during the late afternoon or early evening.

HubSpot helped me with this experiment, as seen below they put together a blog article on the best times to post on Instagram which I thought I’d use to my best advantage to trial and error and see what the outcomes would be. This is an improvement from my first content generation, as I’d usually post at times that wouldn’t receive as much engagement as opposed to now which has seen improvements:

Similar to TikTok, most of the audience that use this platform are active into the late hours of the night, I feel that posting at these evening hours on both platforms, not only allowed for more engagement but also allowed for interactions worldwide, as my target audience is so broad it can be tailored to literally anyone around the world, as the method is acknowledged worldwide. Thursdays at 7-9 p.m. I found to have most engagements so far on TikTok, as well as Sundays leading into the early evening/late afternoon. Although i receive more views through TikTok, I do feel that I receive more engagements on Instagram though there still seems to be a a steady base there as well.

I also made my videos and content more informational, and more instructional/self-guided to see how people would respond. I added certain audio sounds on each video I posted talking about the numerous benefits an ice bath has to offer. Also posted more facts, cues and health benefits to encourage people to try the method for themselves.

Overall, it has seen an increase in engagement and I will be continuing to adopt this approach moving forward.
